Willowbank Reflections

At Willowbank I got to see lots of exciting and amazing animals. My favourite animal was the kiwi and the peacock and the monkey and also the tuna eels. I liked seeing Gumpy eat bugs. It was funny. He couldn't see a bug so it was funny. It was also scary. I liked seeing the baby ducklings because I got close to them and there were lots of them. I felt extremely happy.

At Willowbank on Monday I saw deer. My favourite bit was the tuatara talk and the deer, they were cute. We fed Gumpy, he is a tuatara. He eats beetles and worms. We had morning tea and lunch in the barn. I felt happy and excited. Shylah was in my group. It was cool too.

Yesterday we went to Willowbank. We saw lots of tress and bushes and I touched some eels. My favourite animal was a lama because it could poke its tongue out. There was a kiwi in a dark place. I could hardly see the floor! But it got lighter and lighter. We had to be quiet to be able to see the kiwi. We saw a tuatara called Gumpy. When people walked past it the spikes would come up. Tuatara can be so still they would win at musical statues. The tuatara has cold blood and we have warm blood. We had lunch in the barn, I ate my own lunch. I liked the eels best of all because they were very slimy. I know this because we have touched them before at Muir Park. There were 3 buses that we went back to school on. T13 was our buddy class.
